Ahrrrr!

Nothing much on TV the other night, so I watched Carry On Again Christmas on one of the commercials. I was struck by the similarity between Charles Hawtrey’s version of Old Blind Pew and his alter ego. Have you ever seen them in the same room together?

Old Blind Pew1¹: [shouting] I've got the Black Spot! The dreaded Black Spot!
[switches to regular voice]
Old Blind Pew²: I don't know where I caught it, I'm sure. It must have been in a rosebush.
