Been away for a while visiting, inter alia, Sledgette Major and her partner in the big smoke.
Glad to be back in Minjup amid familiar surroundings of sweet FA (Forgotten-bits-of Australia).
Cities are too complicated for me.

Up there people seem to talk about odd things and look forward to peculiar events like the forthcoming Sex and the City movie.
No movies down here.
Perhaps we should make our own.
Will start soon on the script for Sex and the Country.
Memo to self: be sure to include much horse breeding.

Lit the boiler this morning to get the steam radio going.
It had gone out while I was away.
First thing I heard was about movies again.
Apparently the Sydney Film Festival wants an equivalent to the Cannes Palme d'Or.
I'd suggest the "Dunny d'Or".
Sex and the Country is a surefire bet for that.
Put your money on it now: the golden toilet seat is on its way to Minjup.
