On my way to the Minjup deli this morning for the usual, the crias were gambolling about in the paddocks looking cute as ever.
Crias? I hear you ask.
Yeh, "cria" is to "alpaca" as "lamb" is to "sheep".
Alpacas (Vicugna pacos) are very popular around here, though not as popular as horses of course.
Maybe I should get one to keep down the European weeds?
Unless there's a huarizo for sale -- I'm told they make better pets.
