Now officially known as "der Großvater".
It's a side-effect of La saucisse au fromage et extrait de slip des dingos morts.

"Slip" is an interesting word.
English speakers use it to mean a kind of flimsy underskirt that hides your underpants ... if you're a girl or a cross-dresser.
The French, like a lot of Europeans, only have one underpant.
And "le slip" covers that.

Of good red wine, it is said "Il a du slip"; where we would say "it has legs".

Is it any wonder the allegedly United Nations never worked?
Had its knickers in a knot right from the start.
