Sledgette Major and partner (he of the best toasted sandwiches in the world) had a more-or-less mutual birthday recently.
So I went up to the Smoke for the occasion.
We had a great meal in Vic Park (Indian).
Strange for me to see so much happening in such a small space.
Multum in parvo? -- if that's wrong, excuse my Norwegian.
The country does that to you.
You can also e-mail me if you want to know the secret of where to get great Indian food in Perth without breaking the bank.

Sledgette Major wanted an electric toothbrush.
We found one eventually.
The instructions are interesting: "Cannot be overcharged".
Yeh, except at the check-out.
They also tell you to wash the handle and the brush separately after each use.
I've never done this.
So, back within the safety of Minjup, I tried taking the old Braun apart.
Left me with a pile of plastic rusted on to the handle.
So be aware all you ETB users: wash after each use.

After a great night, I went to visit one of my old Freo mates.
He was in chuck-out mode.
So I scored an old Yamaha amp, Akai speakers and other bits and pieces of pre-digital stuff.
The ute was bulging on the way back.
But when I got back, I set them up in the shed.
Now Minjup is reverberating to old Stones albums played on a genuine stereo.

Digital or analogue?
I may not have a musician's hands any more; but I still have the ears.

Said mate is about to become an honorary Trovatore.
He knoweth not what he hath sown.
