Those who know have told me that Budapest is in fact two cities, Buda and Pest, divided by a river.
The Danube.
Manifestly, this is also the case with Bris and Bane.
North of the river: Victorian buildings, business, commerce, shopping.
South of the river: Pomo-nstrosities, culture, art, food.
These two kind of capture it.

You can't really see the culture stuff in the second photo.
But it's shot from a bit of pomo architecture and shows the "Goodwill Bridge" connecting the South Bank with the City.
It would seem that Bris and Bane need some good will to link them.
Wonder why?
