Birds of a size flock ...
Interesting mix of birds in the garden this eve.
The Silvereyes (Zosterops lateralis) -- known commonly as White-eyes around here -- are flocking with the Brown['s] Honeyeater (Lichmera indistincta).
Both seem to be interested in the few flowers left on the trees now that plucky autumn is e'en scratching at the door of weary summer.
And they'll even have a go at the remaining cherry tomatoes.
A strange combination in some ways.
Maybe cos the fruit farmers don't like the Silvereyes, they hang around with the cuter species so as to go undetected and, so, unshot-at?
