For varicose reasons, mostly cruciverbal, I've been sent back to Ovid's story.
The bit I didn't know was how Pyramus killed himself on discovering Thisbe's apparent remains.
Ovid tells us:
“My blood also shall stain your texture,” said he, and drawing his sword plunged it into his groin.
Now what's the point of that I wonder?
