Nothing this morning because I wasn't here in Minjup.
I went up to the City yesterday to visit, and stay overnight with, family and friends.
Whilst there, one of the above-said berated me for resorting to "the weather" (Zzzz) as a blog topic.
Seems city slickers don't know much about the weather.
For us: we look to see if it's 21C outside -- then the solar hot water kicks in.
Perhaps.
And we look for the upcoming rainfall average if there are seedlings to be planted.
Also to see if there's enough rainwater in the tank to do what they do without a moment's thought, being as they are on scheme water.
Like: have a shower and wash the dishes.
So in future I shall mention the weather as much as I like -- and if Cityfolk [is that a bank?] think that's "small talk", that's their problem.
Not ours.

The strange thing I've found about driving up to that City on several occasions is that you get within about 10k and there's this smell in the cab of the ute.
First coupla times, I couldn't figure it.
Then I realised it was the City's own personal fumes coming into the cab.
Around Minjup I always drive with the "air from outside" thing pressed on the dash.
You know this thing?: like a picture of a car with the air coming IN.
About 10k out of the City, you have to turn it off, or choke.
Then you're at least recycling whatever atmosphere you had in there to start with.
But it's better than breathing the "air".

I never noticed this difference when I lived in Ferkin Fremantle.

Thank god.
