Had a relaxing ale or two with some mates up in the smoke yesterday.
One asked me what the people were like down here.
Basic answer: the men are all called Glenn, Garry or Barry and work for companies like Cleana Septics; the women are all called Sharon, Tracy or Raylene and wear crop tops, cut-off denims, have bad teeth and don't comb the hair on the backs of their heads.
But nothing captures character -- and, in the instance below, local variations on literacy and sexual difference -- like drink preferences.
