Coming back au Nid des hiboux, there was a kingfisher sitting up on the power lines.
Don't know much about kingfishers, so I couldn't immediately find it in the book.
Probably the Sacred (Todiramphus sanctus).
Still it looked like this:
But this is the Collared (chloris) and only occurs way North of here and, I'm told, in Vanuatu.
Where on Earth is that?
