Not around in the bloggersphere for a while.
Too busy celebrating ABC-RN finally dropping Singers of ferkin Renown.
Let's hope it's for good.
Saturdays will now be opera-free.
Not that I'm totally against "serious" song.
Dame Kiri Takeaway is sometimes on the stereo au Nid des hiboux.
But then I guess les Chants d'Auvergne are, to all intents and purposes, folk music, even if somewhat buggered up by Marie-Joseph Canteloube de Malaret, whoever she was, and the English Pisspot Orchestra.
As Louis Armstrong is believed to have said:
"All music is folk music.
"I ain't never heard no horse sing a song".
Louis, for all his greatness, was obviously not an ornithologist.
To be expected, I guess.
The one time I was in Ny'orlins -- with the band -- the only birds I followed around turned out to be transvestites.
