For those who may have possibly prurient interests in my late-night peregrinations, you may like to know what I was doing at 2:15 am today.
Answer: I did not exist at that time because there was no such time.
I got up to water the horse and remembered that daylight saving started at 2:00 am, so I shifted all the clocks I could find one hour forward.
(The wonderful MacBook had already anticipated me -- thanks Steve.)
It was instantly 3:15 am.
When it comes to the referendum, I'll be voting against.
On the grounds that I will never be able to account for what I was doing at 2:15 on Sunday 26th October 2008.
Not that I'm against longer evening hours.
That's a great idea.
So if there's a box on the voting slip that reads: "Should WA stay on daylight saving time all year round?", I'll tick that.
It won't happen but.
